Itinerary

Enjoy the night panorama of beautiful shores of Bosphorus with a private boat while you will taste delicious Turkish common street food “Balık Ekmek” (Fish and Chips) on board and listening to the commentaries of your guide. Fish and Chips (Balık Ekmek) is a common street food item in Turkish street cuisine.

It is a sandwich of a filet of fried or grilled fish served along with various vegetables, inside a bun of Turkish bread. Meet your guide (your guide will hold a flag that writes Istanbul Walks) at 7.45 at the entrance of Spice Bazaar. Following few minutes’ walk your guide will take you to your private boat that will depart from the pier at Golden Horn.

We cruise on Bosphorus; which literally means “cow-ford”, so named because Zeus’s mistress, Io, fled across the strait in the shape of a cow to escape the wrath of Zeus’s wife, Hera. Myth aside, the legendary waterway is as dazzlingly beautiful now as it was in antiquity. No visit to Istanbul is complete without a cruise along its physical and spiritual heart, the glistening waters that link Europe to Asia, that join the Black Sea and Sea of Marmara. You will be served by a delicious Turkish common street food “Balık Ekmek” (Fish and Chips) on board while you are enjoying the view of the both shores of the Bosphorus on Asia and Europe sides; this majestic strait that runs through Istanbul, linking Europe and Asia, you will be located on the Europe and within a few seconds you will be located in Asia within same times.

From your cruise boat, you will view the dramatic sights lining along the Bosphorus’ wooded shores: mosques, a bridge that for a time was the world’s longest and Rumeli Castle, a massive fortress built by Mehmet the Conqueror in just three months as he prepared to take Istanbul. Also noteworthy on this tour are the 19th century mansions of the Ottoman elite and the Sultans’ fanciful gingerbread palaces and hunting lodges. At the end of this delicious and historical sightseeing you will be end up at the same location where your boat departed, end of our services.
